After some reflection on what I actually need from connection, I wrote this “job application”. If it resonates with you, you know where to find me ✌🏼

Kris’s Inner Circle — Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: In Person + Digital)

About the Role

I am looking for one or more highly motivated individuals to fill a long-term friendship position with a queer, transmasc, psychologically fluent, cat-owning, (PSN) trophy-hunting, tea-and-coffee-drinking Cancer ENFJ who has done the work and expects you to be doing yours too.

This is not a seasonal role. I am not looking for holiday-only availability or check-in-when-convenient energy. This position requires genuine investment.

Responsibilities

Initiate contact without being prompted or reminded. Show up during hard months, not just good ones. Ask questions that go beyond “how are you” and actually wait for the answer. Hold space for complexity without needing it resolved into something comfortable for you. Bring your own interiority to the table; this is a reciprocal position. Receive accountability without converting it into a counterattack. Remember birthdays without a group chat prompt.

Requirements

Genuine curiosity about who Kris (myself) is as an individual, not as part of a package deal. Comfort with queer identity, CPTSD, psychological frameworks, and occasional deep dives into relationship patterns. Ability to be chosen and to choose back consistently. No masking required on either side (or wanted). Must be okay with cats. Salem and Kiba are non-negotiable (my fur kids).

Preferred Qualifications

Some experience with therapy or self-work. Capacity for nuanced conversation. Discord and/or PSN presence a plus. Bonus points if you actually read what people send you and have something real to say back.

Compensation

Genuine reciprocal connection. Loyalty that doesn’t come with conditions. A friend who will show up, advocate for you, and never make you feel like a side character in your own story.
